We are so back.
Happy 2024!
2023 was great and ended the year on a high note - We closed commitments to Interlock Fund 1!
We also saw the rise of new ecosystem builders, multiplying the resources available to the tech scene - groups like SDx and their AI hackathons, Fred Grier and his Business of San Diego substack, and Jonah Peake's Social Coyote, a newsletter about local tech events.
I've honestly felt like I had a lot of the ecosystem connecting and communicating on my back for 5+ years and its validating to see the network effect and others help fill in ecosystem gaps. Thank you!
That's freeing me up to do other things this year, including new content (expect new sections to come in this newsletter), Interlock Summit 2024, more work with city governments to attract companies and talent like our Escondido AgX Gathering and Startup Hackathon, and invest in more great early stage tech teams with our community at Interlock Capital.
I'm excited for the new opportunities and I hope you are too.
