As we begin this New Year and we look back on the last, we know that we wouldn't have been able to do any of it with out the support of every one of you - our clients, colleagues, co-workers, family and friends. We appreciate each and every one of you. We also would like to take some time to look back on everything that has happened around our firm as we look forward to another fantastic year!

Divorce Matters® is active in supporting and investing back into our local community. Our firm donates to several non-profits in our Colorado community throughout the year.

  • Attorney Justin J. Oliver led the charge last year with Knights of Heroes, volunteering his time to this charity twice up in the mountains at their camp. To learn more about the Knights of Heroes and their mission, you can visit their website here.

  • Our donations to both Knights of Heroes and Maria Droste are collected from our Jeans Friday. Employees at our firm that wear jeans on Fridays donate money to do so and this money is collected over the course of the year to be donated.

  • Each year our firm sponsors the Divorce Matters Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a student who has been touched by divorce to help support them in their education. Each year several Divorce Matters attorneys and staff volunteer their time to evaluating and choosing the scholarship winner. This past year shareholder and attorney Emily Ahnell, attorney Justin Oliver, and paralegal Kirstin Frolich volunteered their time.

  • Our firm looks to give back to families during the holidays and this year our team participated in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, donating gifts to families in need.
