The start of a new year can be a time for us to take a look within. Sometimes we would like to bring new things into our life, maybe a new habit or practice. Sometimes we want to rid our not-so-good habits that we already have. A great way to approach either of these is through the practice of Yoga Nidra.
A Yoga Nidra, which is sometimes referred to as "Yogic Sleep", is an ancient guided meditation. It is a wonderful way to eliminate the root cause of all the negatives you may have in your life so that you can create new and healthy thoughts, habits and lifestyle. I am offering a Yoga Nidra workshop on Friday, January 11th from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Center for Healing Arts in Sterling Heights. This new year allows you an opportunity to keep yourself happy and healthy. Continuing or getting back into the groove of a daily yoga and meditation practice can be extremely beneficial for you and in turn for your family. Right now we are offering SPECIAL PRICING for our Wednesday Night Yoga series at the Center for the Healing Arts. Although we are in the middle of a current session, we will continue this great pricing ($70 for 10-sessions) into the spring. Walk-in's are always welcome and are only $10.00 per session and your first class is FREE! This Hatha Yoga class is suitable for beginner to intermediate students.
We also offer a class on Monday nights at the Fraser Activity Center. A brand new session is starting on Monday January 7th. This venue also offers very SPECIAL PRICING $80.00 for 10-sessions! Two classes are available at this location; 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. or 7:15 - 8:15 p.m. For additional information or to register, call the Fraser Activity Center at (586) 296-8483. New Classes and Workshops
I offer an Office Yoga Workshop at several different venues. Many mat poses are modified so you can practice them right at your chair while at work.
