We Want Your Input!

As part of our Strategic Planning process, TPL will be conducting a Community Survey to help us better align our services with the needs of our community. The survey will launch on January 9 and will be available online with links located on our website and social media. Paper copies will also be available at the circulation desk.

Envision 2050 Focus Groups

NMCOG (The Northern Middlesex Council of Governments) is embarking on the public engagement process for the Envision 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (RTP) and as part of that, we are hosting focus group meetings in January 2023. These Virtual Envision 2050 Focus Group meetings are an opportunity to discuss and provide input on our region’s transportation issues, needs and priorities. You are welcome to participate in more than one focus group based on your transportation mode choices. Please find the information to register for the focus group below.

Coloring Club

The Coloring Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month, from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm, in the community room.

Saturday Knitting & Crochet Group

January 14th @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm


The Saturday Knitting & Crochet Group meets on the second Saturday of each month from 10:30 am – noon near the circulation desk at Tyngsborough Public Library. Open to all knitting and crocheting levels. Get together with friends and make some new ones!

Writers' Group

January 9th and 23rd @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm


Join us for a writing workshop! Expand your knowledge on writing; critique each other’s work; and get advice on the craft. New and long-time writers are welcome! This will be an ongoing program. The Writers’ Group will be meeting in the Special Collections room of TPL. Meetings will last from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm.


Children's Literature: Writers' Group

January 4th and 18th @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm


If you’re interested in crafting and publishing children’s books and stories, join us to participate with a group of likeminded individuals to discuss, critique, and broaden your children’s literature knowledge. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join.

Weekly Playgroup

(ages 0-8) The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is back for a weekly playgroup! Join us for our community playgroup where we will work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Ask us about any resources we can help provide for you and your family! The Family Resource Network is funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant (CFCE) from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Storytime with Mr. Chance

Thursdays @ 11:00 am


(ages 0-5) Join Mr. Chance for stories, songs, and fun! Storytime builds early literacy skills and social skills. All families welcome.

What is TPL Comic Club? It’s simple:

All books in the TPL Comic Club are for grades 3-5. All young readers are welcome.

Lego Challenge Club

January 21 @ 11 am


Join us for a monthly LEGO challenge on the 3rd Saturday every month at 11 a.m. What will you be asked to make? A spaceship? A film set? A rescue boat? Anything is possible in this LEGO free-play for all ages, with a grown-up.
