Layout is Important!
Well, did you read the directions in the order we wanted you? A study showed 80% of you did.
Many people believe laying out an ad or a graphic is all about looking beautiful or packing in as much information they can in the space provided. The job of a marketer is to get the target to do what we want them to do. Hence, in the above example, the creator wanted you to read the script in a particular order. They did not need to use a high-priced model or a beautiful background to accomplish this, yet up to 80% of you followed the path we laid out.
Are you cluttering up your message or not putting in enough information to grab the audience's attention or not putting it in the best order to gain the best results? Spend a little more time on the flow and test different layouts with others to make sure the message you want is reaching your targets correctly.
