Inspiring Poetry
A Writing Workshop with Linda McCauley Freeman
Thursday, January 23, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

What inspires you to write? Nature, experience, memory? For many writers, inspiration also comes from reading and learning from the work of other writers. But what is stealing? What is borrowing? What is plagiarizing? In this age of AI, these questions are more crucial than ever. In this hands-on workshop, attendees will examine and discuss what generates a poem and how to acknowledge its origin, look at poems that have inspired other poems, and be inspired to write ourselves.
Registration is required.
| |
Linda McCauley Freeman is an internationally published poet and the author of two full-length poetry books: The Family Plot (Backroom Window Press, 2022) and The Marriage Manual (BWPress, 2024). | |
