From the CEO
As CEO, I spend a lot of time building relationships and it is one of the best parts of my job. I’m blessed to lead FreeState Electric Cooperative where we are a big family, and a team of individuals who wholeheartedly believe we work for each of you. Many of the folks at your cooperative have spent years powering your lives and have built long, successful careers in the electric cooperative industry. Randy Richards is one of those people.

Trustee Elections 2020
FreeState Electric Cooperative hosted their 3rd Annual Energy Fair and Member Appreciation Day on Oct. 23. The event included a soap drive to assist area food pantries with gathering personal care items.

Assistance Agencies
FreeState knows of agencies that have been known to assist people who may need help paying utility bills. FreeState is not affiliated with any of these organizations. Contact information is provided as a courtesy to you.

FreeState Employees Train in December
FreeState recently took the opportunity to train all staff on several aspects of line work. This training was designed to be a demonstration, and gave those non-line staff a chance to get a glimpse of what it takes to provide our members with power.

Take a look! Click the video box to the left.
Energy Use Coordinator Matt Lambert will answer questions about energy efficiency, renewables, co-op programs, and everything in between. Email Matt your question and it may be featured in Kansas Country Living or The Signal. FreeState will not use your name if your question is answered in print or online unless you specifically request us to do so.
