Greetings, check out your January Newsletter!
3...2...1... Happy New Year!
None of this would have been possible without YOUR generous support!
2020 was one of the most difficult years yet for Club members. Everything they knew changed. We are so proud of their resilience, strength and hard-work during this challenging year.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands invites you take a look at some of the great accomplishments of our Club members this year:
Served 74,885 meals to Club members during the Club shutdown!
Created a new virtual learning platform called VOICE, to engage Club members from home as well as giving out 278 mobile technology devices to prevent kids from falling behind.
Hosted the first virtual Youth of the Year event, where seven Club members shared their incredible stories. Melissa Centeno-Rosales was named our 2021 Youth of the Year!
Bryan Middle Club's LEGO robotics team qualified for the State Tournament!
Hy-Vee provided 200 Thanksgiving meals to our Council Bluffs and Carter Lake Club Families!
Club members produced over 460 pieces of art for the annual Arts Program Showcase.
Celebrated the 25th Anniversary of On the Road with a special video!
Awarded 53 Club members with $330,000 in scholarships!
Watched the 2020 Oscar nominated animated short films at the Dundee Film Streams for our 4th annual Oscar Shorts event. We also had our 2019 Youths of the Years as guest panelists!

Held a ribbon cutting at our South Omaha Boys & Girls Club for the newly named, "JBS Kids Café".
We can't thank you enough for your support during 2020.

We are also ecstatic to announce that with your help, the generous support of an anonymous donor and JoEy & Jerry Vernon, we have reached AND exceeded our end-of-year gift-match goal!

Thank you again for every gift you gave, social media post you shared, friend you told, and lives you changed.
