Some exciting news!

We have some exciting news to kick off this year! Senate Bills 515-517 were signed into law by Governor Whitmer on December 30th! We have all been busy emailing Representatives, Senators, and their respective teams encouraging them to bring the bills to a vote and now they have become LAW! These laws will support Survivors, Law Enforcement, and Attorneys as they make their case against traffickers.

We are deeply grateful to all Senators and Representatives who championed these bills and were respectful and honoring to Survivors as they gave testimony. Thank you to anyone who wrote emails, made phone calls, met with their Rep or Senator, showed up in Lansing and/or shared updates along the way. And we are grateful to Governor Whitmer for choosing to sign these bills!

We look forward to seeing more legislation in the 2025-26 Legislative Session that will support Survivors and hold Traffickers and Buyers accountable!
