WELCOME BACK!

Welcome back to member investor NextEra Energy Resources!

NextEra Energy Resources develops, owns, and operates energy infrastructure across the United States and Canada. They are operational in 49 states, including Wisconsin.

Right now, they have two projects currently going through permitting at the Wisconsin Public Service Commission - Fox Solar (in Oconto County) and Akron Solar (in Adams County).

In Waupaca County, they are currently prospecting another solar project to the North of Clintonville and South of Embarrass.

They are excited to be back and were also the sponsor of Light Up Clintonville!

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS!

MARKET MESSENGER

Welcome new Chamber Member Market Messenger, a division of Christiansen Printing, LLC! The Market Messenger was started in September of 2013 and covers local news in our area and surrounding counties! We are happy to have a partnership with them!

CHOICE HOLDINGS, LLC

Welcome our newest member, Choice Holdings, LLC!

Founded in 2011 and owned by Cody & Heather Bessette of Bear Creek, Choice Holdings specializes in commercial real estate, leasing several local properties. In 2023, they expanded with the addition of Choice Storage in Embarrass on County Hwy Y.

Most recently, they purchased the former Seasons Salon building, soon to be rebranded as South Main Studios. Renovations will begin with the interior, followed by exterior updates this summer—bringing fresh energy to the space. Plans include additional stylist stations, individual suites for independent artists, and a larger unit ideal for retail or a business meeting area, all benefiting from great foot traffic.

We’re excited to watch this project come to life—welcome to the Chamber, Choice Holdings, LLC!

ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS!

FWD Seagrave Museum is looking for people in the area to consider volunteering to give tours during the months of May through October. If you have four hours a week to spare, it would enable them to have open hours every day during the months they are open!

They are also looking for any historical items related to the FWD Corporation, Eliaison Motor Toboggan, FWD-Wagner Tractor, Topp-Stewart Tractor, Seagrave Fire Apparatus, FWD Miller Special racecar, and Wisconsin Central and/or North Central Airlines. Photos, items of interest and memorabilia would help provide a destination museum for people to come to our community to visit!

If you are interested in volunteering or have some artifacts you would like to donate, please reach them at fwdseagravemuseum@gmail.com or 715-823-4011.

EAA Chapter 1710 members Mathieu (President & Young Eagles Coordinator) and Lauren Labs (Secretary) want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with their two four-legged kiddos, Zanna and Moose. It’s not every day you can get a picture with the Grinch while in the Florida Keys!

EAA Chapter 1710 members Mathieu (President & Young Eagles Coordinator) and Lauren Labs (Secretary) had a once-in-a-lifetime experience over Miami and along the coast on December 8th. They had the opportunity to fly with Jimmy Graham (Chairman of the EAA Young Eagles and former Packers TE) in his Huey. Mathieu said, “Taking the controls was incredible, and he was even playing Lynyrd Skynyrd and CCR while we flew.” When like-minded pilots get together, the unthinkable can happen, and thank you to everyone who has supported us through the Young Eagles program; this never would have been possible without you.
