SEEK | SERVE | LOVE

exploring faith through all the stages of early adulthood

Good afternoon, everyone!

My name is Alejandro Salazar, and I'm the new Interim Young Adult Coordinator for First Pres! I'll be stepping in while Eric engages in his new role as the Engagement Coordinator for our new digital campus.

A little bit about me, I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelors of Science in Public Health and stepped into this role on January 6th! Having been born and raised in the First Pres youth program, and continuing my faith through UKirk at TCU, I'm now transitioning into the world of Young Adult Ministry. My current involvement with the church is with the Honduran Mission Partnership and the Chancel Choir at the 11 o'clock services. Some of my hobbies include hiking, traveling, and any form of adventure or trying new things!

During my time here, my work will focus on listening, assessment, collaboration and growth of the Young Adult Program. I seek to carry on the work of Eric and support those programs that already have roots. At the same time, I'll be exploring opportunities for growth not only in our church community but conducting outreach to surrounding communities as well.

If at any point, you need any form of support from the smallest things to major life events, I'm here to help and to listen. Do not hesitate to reach out to me at asalazar@fpcfw.org. My office is located directly across from the Sanctuary, where Jayne McFarland usually sits. When I am here, my door is always open from Sunday - Thursday. I'm so excited to serve my home church in a new manner, and to get to know each and every one of you!

Peace and be well,

Alejandro Salazar
