A New Year, A New Look!
From our Executive Director
Happy 2019!

After assuming the role of Executive Director only a few short months ago, I am excited to take CAP/Corbett to the next level. I am deeply committed to growing our efforts to find forever families for those children waiting the longest for a home of their own.
We have some exciting possibilities and prospects for the future, including more collaborations, greater visibility, and work on a new strategic plan to make it all happen. The year ahead promises to be an exciting one. Please join us as we begin our 2019 journey!

All my best,
Lauri McKnight
Introducing Preston...

Turning 12 this year, Preston is an energetic and happy young man. He enjoys super heroes and computer games. Although not a big fan of vegetables, Preston’s favorite food is pizza.

Preston needs a compassionate family willing to be his biggest advocates and support system to help him excel in life.

To Warm Your Heart:
the Kurmis Family

Anna and Bob Kurmis started the adoption process looking for a younger child to grow up with their son. While volunteering and mentoring foster children, they realized how many teenagers were waiting for a forever family, so they decided to adopt a teen .

The Kurmis family participated in the 2018 Heart Gallery Panel and has been involved in recruitment through radio and interviews. They continue to support perspective adoptive families starting the adoption process through CAP's Experienced Adoptive Parent Mentor (buddy system) Program.
In the News
