Happy New Year from Klyde Warren Park!
We are eagerly anticipating a safe, healthy and happy rest of 2021 at Klyde Warren Park, with a heavy emphasis on SAFE! Safety is no accident, so we continue to maintain our rigorous cleaning protocols, as well as recommended social distancing guidelines. Our Children’s Park remains closed, but the rest of the Park is open daily from 6 AM to 11 PM. Remember that masks are still trendy AND required if you are within six feet of others. And, of course, if you are feeling ill, please come see us another day. (And we wish you a speedy recovery!)

My Best Friend's (Dog) Park and our food trucks (schedule below) are available for all to explore. KWP-hosted free classes, programming and special events begin again in March, so, until then, our newsletter will be published bi-weekly. For more information, please follow us on social media, Instagram @klydewarrenpark, Twitter @klydewarrenpark or on our website, www.klydewarrenpark.org.
Thank You, 2020 Supporters!
We could not have done it without you! From Friends of the Park to our new Corporate Council members to Phase 2 donors, in-kind sponsors, end-of-year contributors and more, YOU helped keep Klyde Warren Park clean, safe and active in 2019. YOU allowed us to provide a safe and fun respite for the community during a global pandemic that wanted to keep us apart.

As Klyde Warren Park is privately funded and managed, we raised dollars to put on free public programming, even producing television broadcasts with CBS 11 to bring celebrations to you. Yes, our budget was drastically reduced, and we took pay cuts and worked remotely, but playing a role in the City of Dallas’ recovery was important to our Board and staff. Because of the generosity of so many, we were able to continue weekly fitness classes, offer seven “mini” Christmas tree and nightly menorah lightings, host open-air markets, live musicians, dance performances and memorial exhibits, and continue to serve as Dallas’ town square.

On behalf of everyone who came to the Park this year, we thank our supporters and wish you the best for 2021!

Support the Restaurants that Support the Park!
We might have missed out on KWP’s Park & Palate food-and-wine festival in 2020, but we are not going to miss out on thanking our biggest food friends. We are eternally grateful for the chefs and restaurants who have made the Park’s fundraiser tasty year after year and continue this series of shout outs to those who give us so much.

While the weather outside is frightful, The Adolphus Hotel is delightful. Head to this historic downtown Dallas hotel for a rooftop woodland experience with open-air seasonal festivities, winter cocktails, curling and cozy cabins and igloos—all part of a pop-up Winter Wonderland that runs through the end of January. And be sure to stop by Park supporters City Hall Bistro and The French Room to thank them for their generosity and enjoy a tasty meal or afternoon tea (maybe even a cocktail!).

The 5.2-acre park relies on contributions from donors to support maintenance, special programming and educational activities for more than one million visitors each year. Please consider making a gift to help us pay for expanded cleaning protocols. Thank you!
