Hello Corey,
We wanted to share with you the happenings in our life at here at the end of the 2022 year.
As many of you know we spend 6 months in the USA partnership building. It was the first time we returned the USA since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are in the middle of raising support to transition to FMWM Career Missionaries.
In the middle of October, we returned to Thailand to join the first FMC Asia conference at the beginning of November since the start of the pandemic. We help facilitate the Better Together Convergence in Chiang Mai where a hundred Free Methodist leaders across Asia joined in for a good time of learning, fellowship, prayer, and re-connection.
For the remainder of November and December, we traveled around Northern Thailand visiting our ICCM project sites. There we gathered letters to the children’s sponsors and fresh pictures. WE are finalizing this process so sponsors may receive their letter in the new year.
During the pandemic, Connie and Corey worked with Thai FMC leaders to establish a foundation for the Free Methodist Church in Thailand. That foundation was approved in 2021. We returned to Thailand on a short term visa under the new foundation. In between our travels we have been working with the Thai department of labor and Immigration to extend our visa to long-term. We hope to have the final step in this process next week and be granted new visas without leaving Thailand and coming back.
