Dear Unite Homeschool,
We hope you've enjoyed some time off and been able to rest and relax with loved ones! Unite's spring semester is getting kicked off with a BANG - the clubs are nearly full and plans are firming up for all sorts of awesome events!
This newsletter is PACKED with exciting things, but first a personal story:
2 weeks ago, I was burdened with a million small pressures, questions, needs, hopes and dreams that felt they were being attacked or dashed... it was just a hard day.
I met with a mom who was super encouraging and then went to run a few Unite errands. As I passed by the Unite Center the Lord had placed a DOUBLE RAINBOW over our building. From the perspective I was in - it looked like it stared at my house, ended where my church is and was directly over the center!!!! It was 100% telling my heart that God sees all the hard, daily sacrifices I make and that he is redeeming the hard into a beautiful story.
Then yesterday - our year end campaign was looking small and sad. BUT GOD - He moved in the hearts of some very generous members, and we exceeded our much-needed goal by $1097!
When I think back to all that was accomplished in 2024, I am entirely blown away by His goodness and provision, here are a few examples.
- We have a Homeschool Resource Center ๐งฎ
- ๐Our library grew from 250 books in a storage unit to 2697 books ready for check out
- Our leadership team has grown from 3 to over 25.
- This is the first year we ended the year in the black.
- ๐Our board of directors is now much better connected
- Relationships in the community are getting strong ๐ช
- Parents are finding the friends, support and connections they need!
- ๐คนโโ๏ธChildren are showing more confidence and growth in their social skills
- We held 395 events in the year 2024 - WOW!!!๐ฒ
- Our Youtube Channel already has over 120 videos
- We have exceeded Facebook - though we are still shadow banned most of the time ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Obviously, there is a lot to celebrate. If there is something you have been putting off getting involved in, go ahead and take the first step. It will absolutely be worth it.
