HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIENDS!

Greetings! Yes, it is true, we have the lowest snowpack this time of year in decades (fortunately we received 10” of snow since last Friday). BUT-there is ALWAYS SOMETHING GREAT TO ENJOY IN ASPEN! Pine Creek Cookhouse is a favorite dining experience for locals and visitors. I booked a late lunch for New Year's Eve Day and we will cross country ski to the cookhouse (but you could also take the sleigh or hike).

JAS (JAZZ ASPEN SNOWMASS) The highly anticipated new venue, the Paul JAS Center, above the historic Red Onion in now open! Concerts are booked through January 3rd. Also note that the newly renovated and beloved Red Onion restaurant will open in 2026 with the popular team of Craig and Samantha Cordts-Pierce. WHEELER OPERA HOUSE has done an incredible job under the management of former NY based entertainment Guru with great shows like Kate Hudson singing last Sat, Dec. 27!!

We have so much to be grateful for- even if Mother Nature keeps the jet stream north of us. Enjoy time with your loved ones and pray for snow!

REAL ESTATE UPDATE

We are in an active market with surprisingly equivalent stats over the last three years. Stats are mostly static with bigger $$$ volume because of the rising price per square foot.

While snow remains low, winter adventures abound near Aspen’s Ashcroft

If you’re looking for snow, upper Castle Creek Road has it for free. With a lack of snow on Aspen’s surrounding mountains, visitors and residents can take advantage of three miles of free groomed Nordic trails to ski or hike.

New Paul JAS Center - Jazz Aspen Snowmass now has a permanent home in downtown Aspen

Upstairs, the Paul JAS Center provides an intimate 200-capacity venue featuring a spacious bar and a new “cafe-dance” format, which combines standing room with reserved table seating. This gives audiences more space to dance, as well as an opportunity for lower ticket costs to hear well-known jazz, blues, soul, R&B, and funk performers.  CLICK HERE FOR ARTICLE
