Community First, since 1959 , has been Doing Good!
Desire to Serve on CFCU Board or Supervisory Committee?
A financial cooperative is a democracy. Members are represented by their Board. Each Board Member (there are 11 of them) is elected to a three-year term. At our annual Meeting of the Membership on April 16, four of those Board Members come up for re-election. At that same meeting we will re-elect one CFCU Member to a three-year term of the Supervisory Committee. All positions are voluntary and without pay, but you do get to help shape the direction of your LOCAL financial cooperative.

If you are interested in serving as a Board Member or Supervisor, kindly contact our Nominating Committee via e-mail at: Applications need to be completed and postmarked no later than Wednesday, February 26. Send to Community First, Nominating Committee, PO Box 6004, Santa Rosa, CA. 95406-0004.
Do Gooders in the Community
As we step into the new decade and a new year of business, we continue to put the best interests of the communities we serve –– first. At Community First Credit Union, your locally earned dollars stay in the LOCAL economy.

Because of our local commitment, we attract great staff. People who are not only rockstars in the office, but in the community too! Together, as a team, Community First employees volunteered more than 2,450 hours throughout the Redwood Empire in 2019. An average of 9.4 hours every business day!

Our Do Gooders (as we like to call ourselves) volunteered at Plowshares Empty Bowls Fundraiser (Ukiah), Junior Achievement (Ukiah and Napa), Novato Art and Wine Festival, Shakespeare on the Lake (Clearlake and Lakeport), Relay for Life (Napa), Sonoma County Fair, and multiple days at the Redwood Empire Food Bank, just to name a few.

We believe in not only serving our Members with the best financial service, but also serving our local communities to make them better places to live, work, and play! Cheers to 2020!
