Everything Evergreen

Happy New Year Janice,

Evergreen Heritage Center Foundation would like to wish you and yours a happy and prosperous new year! As you can imagine, the holidays have given us the much needed opportunity to reflect and relax in preparation for our busy schedule in 2025.

We'll be hosting a number of workshops and events throughout the year, as well as our many student programs, field trips, and summer camps. Visit our Events Page to learn more!

The More You Know!

Now is the time when many pollinators are hiding in the leaves and stems of our favorite native plants. When you're planning your garden this year, consider adding in a few of your favorite native plant species to give our pollinator friends a place to overwinter next year!

AmeriCorps Updates –

Reillee Beeman

Reillee is a part-time AmeriCorps member through the ASTAR program

In the fall, Reillee helped with the 6th and 8th grade STEM field trips. She said, "one funny memory from the 6th grade program is when we checked the pond's water quality, we asked the kids if they saw any fish and most say yes! We explained that there are no fish due to poor water quality, but some kids still insisted they saw fish swimming!" Reillee is currently researching the 6th and 8th grade science curriculum to help us make updates to our programs next school year!
