A Message from Rachel Kornfeld, CEO

Team JFS has stepped up to meet emerging needs of all kinds- 49,000 times this year! Over and over, the community was touched by the empathy and compassion our highly qualified team brings to every encounter. Our goal is to minimize the suffering of others and our success is in the stories of our precious clients, volunteers, and professionals.

My heart is bursting with gratitude for the expanding community which we serve, and the endless goodwill shared in 2024. While our history and main location is in Greenwich, our new footprint traverses the state of Connecticut through our Bennett Center for Behavioral Health and our Refugee Resettlement Program.

This coming year we will need our community more than ever. JFS of Greenwich exists to serve those in our community who need us. As suffering has no race, gender, religion or socio-economic status - everyone is part of our extended community.

Thank you for trusting us to care for you and for sharing your resources to support us. Our organization is representative of world-wide religions and cultures working in unison to change the trajectory of lives. Our stories are heart-wrenching and powerful; our clients are resilient, strong, and open to positive change.

On behalf of Team JFS of Greenwich we wish you a happy and healthy 2025. Please continue to call upon us in times of challenge, and join us in times of strength as we work to minimize the suffering of others through service.
