2020 is the Year of the Rat!  

Come celebrate the Lunar New year with MAA at Limestone Presbyterian Church from 1-4pm, with lunch around 2. It is a wonderful time to connect with other adoptive families! Enjoy face painting, take-home crafts, entertainment, and a delicious spread. MAA will provide 2 main entrees, refreshments, drinks and paper products, but we ask that everyone also bring an item to share. Please RSVP to  Leonette Bioarski . We hope to see you there!
Creating a Family launched their new  Online Learning Center for Adoptive and Foster Families  on January 1, 2020.
The new  Online Learning Center for Adoptive and Foster Families  has lots of updated content and new courses including some exciting changes to our  Hague Package  (which now includes aligned Hague regulations on the certificate of completion),  Domestic Infant Adoption Package , and  Foster Care Adoption Package . 
Please note the current Creating a Family Online education center, found at CreatingaFamily.org will no longer be available for users to purchase courses as of January 1, 2020. All online learning links from Creatingafamily.org will be redirected to the new learning center at  AdoptionEd.org  where you can purchase courses going forward. Any users with outstanding courses or certificates from the old center can visit the  My Courses  page to access that information. Users will have access to their old accounts through the  My Courses  login page until the end of February 2020. All applicable agency coupon codes can be applied on the new site to purchase courses.

We feel so blessed to have received so many touching cards, beautiful photos, and moving updates from all of you. We displayed them on the wall or around our little tree. This is just a fraction of your cards and notes. Thank you for thinking of us during this special time of year. We love hearing from you!
2020 brings good news for China post adoption photo requirements!

There is one less step for you to complete! Going forward, MAA will no longer require hard copy photos. We will only require the digital images. Please type the captions to the digital images in the body of your email. We hope this makes the process less stressful for you all. Thank you for your hard work and diligence.
