Sowing Seeds of Hope Temporary Emergency Winter Shelter

Volunteers and donations needed.

In partnership with the City of Worcester and Blessed Sacrament Church, Open Sky Community Services opened a temporary emergency shelter on December 16, 2022.

Within 5 hours the shelter was at capacity, showing just how much need there is in our community. Staff are finding alternate arrangements for those who arrived after the shelter reached capacity, but volunteers are needed to cook evening meals for the shelter, organize activities, and donate items for our guests. A list of high-need donations can be found here.

If you are interested in donating or volunteering, please contact Brian at 774-276-1281.
