Happy New Year!

Redwood City Public Library wishes you a healthy and happy 2023. We look forward to bringing you more of our signature Storytimes, Makerspace programs, events and services.

We are excited for what is to come in 2023, including newly expanded hours and programs for our Teen Center. We are also happy to announce the return of Zip Books: a way for customers to request books that the Library doesn't own.

We look back on 2022 with pride at all that we accomplished for and with our great community. We hope you enjoy the visual wrap-up below!
NEWS FROM THE FRIENDS
Happy New Year from Friends of the Redwood City Public Library!

To support your 2023 resolutions, Friends has a wonderful sale of items on fitness, cooking, hobbies, self-help, parenting and more! Your purchases and membership donations fund Redwood City Public Library programs. Did your family enjoy the Winter MakerClub activities? That is a Friends sponsored program! The Winter MakerClub Open House party for the whole family is Saturday, January 7 from 1-3pm at the Downtown Library.

Programs that Friends fund at all three libraries include:
  • adult author visits, music, career, technology and Seed Library events
  • a huge array of regularly scheduled and specialty children’s events such as storytimes, Little Learners, crafts and holiday activities
  • Teen Center programs and homework support for teens
  • Summer Learning Challenge for all ages
  • participation in community events for library outreach

If you enjoy any of these programs or love that the library puts on such a nice array of activities for the community, stop by the Bookstore at the Downtown Library or the book kiosk at Redwood Shores Branch Library to do a bit of shopping. You can also donate here to support this programming. Cheers! And thank you for your support!
