Happy New Year from Strong Tower Ranch! 

As we enter this new year, a word that has recently been introduced to me and on my mind is “Influencer” (I may be a little behind the times.). We are hearing more and more about the potential payoff of becoming an “Influencer” through social media outlets. Apparently, if you get enough followers liking what you post, you may be picked up by a sponsor and become rich, just by influencing others. 

I find this fascinating, since God has the original patent on being the greatest influencer of all time. From the beginning of humankind, God has influenced us using messengers, prophets, angels, and ordinary people living ordinary lives. When we choose to follow Jesus, our great Influencer, our riches will be beyond what we can fathom. 

As I reflect on our past year here at the Ranch, I think about all the children who experienced our programs and camps, how they were influenced, and by whom. Our point of reference when influencing those entrusted to us is ALWAYS God’s word, and we have an amazing group of volunteers who come prepared to serve because they choose to follow and be influenced by Jesus Christ. 

Throughout the rest of the year, we have a core staff who meet regularly, pray together, plan, and keep things running on a day-to-day basis. Their hard work and influence have been such an encouragement to so many, and I have the honor to introduce them and the roles they fill at Strong Tower Ranch.
