Our FREE digital passports provide the perfect itinerary for exploring SoIN. Use Scenic SoIN to discover the most stunning views in Southern Indiana, Inspired SoIN to dive into the vibrant local art scene and Stranger Things of SoIN to uncover all things peculiar! After 10 check-ins with each passport, you'll earn a print from local artist and SoIN native Matthew Clinard and entries to the grand prize giveaways. 


Passport users have a shot at the following grand prizes:


  • Scenic SoIN - two hiking backpacks and a $100 Indiana State Parks gift card
  • Inspired SoIN - a private pottery class for eight people at the New Albany Clay Collective

From January 8 – February 16, enjoy dinner and a showing of Love, Lies & The Lottery, a hilarious comedy by Derby Dinner’s own Jim Hesselman. Follow the main character as he tries to claim his winning lottery ticket while juggling family chaos! Recommended for ages 15 and up. Ticket prices and showtimes vary.

Do You Feel Anger? by Mara Nelson-Greenberg is a surreal workplace comedy about the absurdity—and the danger—of a world where some people’s feelings matter more than others’. The show premiered at the 2018 Humana Festival of New American Plays. Show dates are Feb. 6, 7, 9, 13 and 15 at various times. Recommended for ages 16+. Tickets are $15/person. 

Do You Feel Anger?

Learn about roadside geology, saving the Hellbender, the Dinosaur Renaissance and more this January at the Falls of the Ohio State Park! Programs are free but don’t cover the cost of parking ($2) or Interpretive Center admission ($9 – 12 years and older, $7 – 5 to 11 years, under 5 – free).

The Form Not Function Quilt Art Biennial Opening Reception will be held from 5–7 p.m. on January 16 at the Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center in New Albany. Enjoy a Juror’s Talk with Michelle Amos and Kevin Womack, complimentary appetizers, non-alcoholic beverages, and live jazz by the Jamey Aebersold Quartet while exploring the exhibit. The exhibition runs through April 12, and admission is free. 

Quilt Biennial

Head to the Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center for Rockin’ the Pops from 2 – 4:15 p.m. on January 18. Enjoy performances by Erin Hill, a world-renowned pop & rock harpist with a voice reminiscent of Kate Bush, and Terry Lee Ridley, whose band channels the electric stage presence of Elvis Presley and the piano precision of Jerry Lee Lewis for a 1950s-inspired show. Event is free but registration is recommended.

Rockin' The Pops

Visit J&B Magic Shop & Theater in New Albany, one of the few remaining brick-and-mortar magic shops in the U.S., for The Never Not Amazing Show - Family Matinee from noon - 1 p.m. on January 11. Tickets are $10 - 12. Everyone has a chance to participate in this fully immersive, family-friendly show.
