NEWS: CELEBRATING 25 YEARS!

SKSF CELEBRATES 25 YEARS IN THE COMMUNITY

So much has changed in the past 25 years! Special Kids Special Families started with only a handful of staff, no vehicles, 1 program, and served less than 50 clients. Today, we’ve grown to:

  • More than 70 dedicated staff
  • 16 vehicles providing rides
  • More than 10 dynamic and wide-ranging services
  • Serve more than 700+ amazing clients!

One thing that has remained for 25 years, and will continue far beyond, is our commitment to making this the best community in the nation for individuals with disabilities, their families and caregivers by offering high-quality, compassionate, wraparound care.

HOLIDAY GIFT GIVING

This past holiday season was a special one! Everyone came together to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. Thoughtful gifts were donated by individuals and area businesses and given to SKSF clients bringing them such joy! Everyone’s generosity made the holidays truly special and we greatly appreciate their thoughtfulness. Thank you! A few photos during our gift giving events…

Thanks to Michael Sherman at 4kidzsports for supporting our organization by donating several bike helmets to Zach's Place! These will help keep our kiddos safe when riding their bikes outside!

Grant awards provide a significant source of critical funding to fuel our mission to create positive change. With their support, we can amplify our impact, reaching more communities, and making a meaningful difference. Each grant received is a beacon of hope, enabling us to provide more opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families. Thanks to these grantors for being a crucial part of our mission:

SEEKING DONATIONS

We need your help! Every year we hold a drawing at our Bowl-A-Rama and silent auction at our Night of Comedy event. These events help raise funds for our programs and your donations of items like gift cards, gift certificates, electronics, art, overnight stays, spa packages, gift baskets and more – MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Please help us raise funds to support our programs. Last year we made over $20,000 that went directly to support programs for individuals with disabilities. Your donation(s) will be recognized on our social media pages, in our E-News, website and at the event. If you are interested in donating, VISIT HERE TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION.
