Dear Friends of the President Wilson House,
From all of us at The President Woodrow Wilson House, we wish you a safe, healthy and happy New Year! While another year in a pandemic brings uncertainty, we remain hopeful and encouraged by your support. We're in this together!

With your support, here's what we're excited to accomplish in 2022:

  • Re-launching our Virtual and In-Person Speaker Series, starting in February.

  • The Grand Opening of our exhibit, Suffrage Outside, Inside: The 19th Amendment at 101.

  • Continuing our Scholars Program, now recognized as a President's Volunteer Service Award organization. We are committed to creating a meaningful, productive, and rewarding experience for our scholars each semester.

  • Creating exciting and high-quality video content so we can bring the Wilson House on-line and provide our followers virtual tours and content.

  • Completing our landscape project to restore our historic garden.

  • Curating more self-guided walking tours of Dupont Circle, Sheridan Circle and Observatory Circle to add to our Tour Offerings.

  • Inviting schools and communities into our historic home virtually and in-person to learn more about President Wilson, his legacy and his place in history.

  • Restoring and maintaining this amazing collection of authentic and historic artifacts at the Wilson House. From acid-free archival folders and sleeves to restoring the magnificent Gobelin Tapestry to tuning the Steinway Concert Grand Piano.

In addition to planning for great tours, exhibitions and programs, we are also facing repairs to steam pipes and walls damaged in a leak. While our administrative offices remain open, the museum will be closed for repairs and restoration in January and will reopen to the public in February 2022.

None of this is possible without help and donations from our friends and supporters.

This December, a generous donor is matching all gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $125,000. Your support will go twice as far to preserve historic places that tell the full American story.

Together, we can protect the buildings, neighborhoods, and lands that weave our country's past and present together. Your tax-deductible gift today ensures the President Wilson House and National Trust can continue the vital work of historic preservation as we head into 2022.

Please, with just a few days before year-end, now is the time to make your donation.
