Two Angels is ran by Felipe Flores who came here from Mexico in 1997 and opened an Antigo location in 2019. In 2023 he opened a restaurant in Clintonville. He is very happy to be in our community and is looking forward to a great partnership with us!

A huge round of applause for Hoffmaster Creative Converting Division and the Shuffles Performance Team for their outstanding entries in this year’s parade! Your creativity and hard work truly stood out and brought so much joy to the community!

The Clintonville Police Department (CPD) and Fleet Farm participated in their annual "Shop with a Cop" event on December 10th. CPD officers and dispatchers paired up with local children to holiday shop for their families.

After shopping, the participants enjoyed crafts and wrapped their gifts before having pizza and snacks.

The "Shop with a Cop" program is made possible through community donations to the CPD Community Policing Fund. Nice job!

Goodfellows Concludes 2024 Campaign with Largest Effort Ever!

The Goodfellows of Clintonville and Marion are proud to announce the successful completion of their 2024 charity campaign, by most accounts the largest in the organizations history. The hard work of dozens of volunteers culminated on December 11th and 12th with the successful distribution of grocery store vouchers, toys, clothes and other items, making this Christmas a bit brighter for over 300 households comprised of over 1150 people in the Clintonville and Marion areas.

“With inflation continuing to make it effects known, the need this year was huge." stated Steve Conradt, President of Goodfellows of Clintonville and Marion. “The contributions of donors throughout the Clintonville/Marion area helped The Goodfellows tremendously in our goal of meeting the needs of our most vulnerable residents. It was great to see increased support from many of our past donors as well as support from some new businesses and donors as well. We live in an incredibly generous community!

In addition to financial grants from several area foundations, Churches, businesses, schools, civic groups as well as many generous individuals provided an incredible level of financial and other support of our efforts. It was truly an incredible year. We at the Goodfellows are proud to work with all of you in this great cause and equally proud to call all of you a friend of the Goodfellows of Clintonville and Marion! On behalf of the our over 1,150 recipients this year, Thank you one and all!"

A special thanks to the great folks at Memory Lanes and Banquet Hall for the use of their great facility. We couldn't do it without Jeannie and her great staff! A special thank you to Principal Emily Ferg and some members of the8th grade class of St. Martin Lutheran School in Clintonville for helping out.

The Annual Lions Holiday Party took place on Tuesday, December 17. This occasion is of great importance to our club, as it allows us to acknowledge the community volunteer or volunteers of the year, as well as the president's choice for member of the year. 

We were honored to have DG Lion Mae Enz and her husband, PDG Lion Ed Enz attend as special guests. Lion Mae shared a brief yet thoughtful message. 

This year, President, Sara Mullen selected Beth Hintz. Lion Beth assists with event cooking and prep, raffle baskets, roadside cleanup, rose sale, baking cookies for events and more. Congratulations! 

The Community Volunteer award committee chose Amy and Ken Meinhardt, and also recognized Leah and Doris for their invaluable contributions to Compassionate Connections Inc. The Community Award recipients received a check from our club to use towards their organization of choice in the amount of $200. Congratulations! 

We would like to thank our community volunteers who have supported us with various projects throughout the year. Notably, we thank Tracey Mengert, Carol Sawall, Jerry Oestrich, and Cinthy Helms. 

The evening included a dinner, entertaining games, prizes, and social.

The Waupaca County Catch-a-Ride Program recently received a $25,000 donation from Tyson Foods in New London. This is a HUGE support to this program which is managed in part by our member, Feonix Mobility Rising. The program provides affordable transportation for people to get to and from their place of employment 24 hours a day. These funds will help to sustain and improve this great program.
