December Member Spotlight - Kelly Thibert, DO, MPH
I came into medicine to make a difference, as many of us did. My idea of “making a difference” at the outset was completely different than the path my career has traversed.
Initially I sought out medical school to become a forensic pathologist. I was enamored with the human body and the art of helping loved ones heal by providing answers and closure. Along my journey I became involved with the American Medical Student Association, where I learned that there is more to medicine than what happens inside of the exam room. With this knowledge, I pursued my Master of Public Health and took the leap into family medicine – the best decision of my medical career. CLICK HERE to read more.

Dr. Thibert was recently on AAFP Board as Resident Physician Representative.
