Walking with the Blessed Mother Mary We begin this New Year 2022 by praising you Lord, our God and Loving Father. With so much gratitude, we express our thanks to You, Father, for this New Year. You are indeed so concerned about us, your children. as we start to unfold another page of our faith-journey together. You gave to us, Mary, the Mother of your Only Begotten Son, to be our guide and companion on this journey. It is indeed so comforting and assuring to have not just someone with us, but the dearest Mother, as companion and guide to every step we will make this New Year. As we celebrate today, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, may we be able to follow her every footstep toward your Son more closely this New Year. With so much faith, hope and charity, and You as our God, we are ready and excited to begin this New Year. We can surely make this new journey a meaningful and fruitful one. Schedule Changes St. Peregrine Mass Postponed The monthly St. Peregrine Mass, is postponed until next Saturday, Jan. 8, due to this day falling on New Year's Day. This Mass, which includes a blessing with the relic of St. Peregrine, the patron saint of those with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, will be celebrated next Saturday, Jan. 8, at 12 noon in the Chapel of Mary. No Filipino Mass Tomorrow The Filipino Mass scheduled for tomorrow will not take place due to the Filipino New Year's Mass, which will be celebrated today at 12 noon. The regular Filipino Mass will continue to be celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. beginning Sunday, Jan. 16.

The Peace Garden in the Snow Enjoy the beauty of the Peace Garden at The Grotto during last week's snowfall. The Peace Garden is located in the Upper Gardens and is a wonderful place to visit in all seasons.
