CMFCAA Press Release

'Legacy of Love' Gala to Build Foundation for A Brighter Tomorrow

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association (CMFCAA) will host its annual Legacy of Love Gala on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at Capitol Plaza Hotel, 415 W. McCarty St., Jefferson City.

Tickets and sponsorships are available at mofosteradopt.com/gala.

This year’s theme, “A Foundation for a Brighter Tomorrow,” celebrates the strength and courage it takes to build something lasting, brick by brick and dream by dream.

Guests will enjoy a delicious meal and cocktails, live and silent auctions, and music and entertainment. The program will include special recognitions and a testimonial video.

“Only together can we pour the footing a child needs to thrive,” said Jill Quaid, CEO of CMFCAA. “Every gift—large or small—lays another brick of stability for foster, adoptive, and kinship families across our 24 counties. When our community shows up, dreams become durable and tomorrow gets brighter for Missouri’s kids.”

Every dollar raised fuels essential services that keep children safe and families stable in CMFCAA’s 24-county service area. CMFCAA’s services include caregiver training and navigation, respite events, youth mentoring, crisis support, and practical essentials through the Trunk and Traveling Trunk clothing-and-more stores.

About CMFCAA

CMFCAA is a 501(c)(3) organization serving foster, adoptive, and kinship families across 24 counties in mid-Missouri. Since 2007, the organization has provided no-cost services that advocate for children, strengthen families, and help young people thrive. Learn more at mofosteradopt.com.
