The Change Starts Today
The Greater Hayward House of Hope provides faith-based rehabilitation
and support to men struggling with addiction and homelessness
From Executive Director, Michael Thompson

Recently, I sat in court with one of the men in our program who faced a sentencing hearing. His court records and sentence were read aloud along with about 10 other men who faced sentencing. Drug and alcohol abuse were related to every case!

According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (WI-DHS), Sawyer County averaged over 200 hospital visits due to substance use in 2019. On average 1 out of 5 residents struggle with alcohol use, Sawyer County consumes 9% more alcohol than the state average, and ranks 11 out of 72 counties in regard to alcohol related deaths.

Your support is key in solving this problem. Would you consider donating to help us achieve our mission?

Greater Hayward House of Hope (GHHOH)
We are a rehabilitation ministry that helps men overcome life controlling addiction issues. Our strategies include;
1) hosting men in the residential facility for 1-year program
2) facilitating weekly recovery meetings
3) ministering to jail inmates and introducing them to GHHOH before they are released, and
4) trade skills training and workforce development, to meet future regional employer needs. Products made by the men in the program are sold to local stores and outlets to partially fund this organization.

Who wants one of these beauties?
15-inch handmade multiple layer crosses. Our residents have learned to craft these in their daily workshop time. Email Mike to arrange a pick up. $40.
THANK YOU,
Kwik Trip - Hayward!
