Event Descriptions and Maps from 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 have provided impressive examples of how the world is embracing and advocating for One Health.

No one organization owns
One Health Day!!
It belongs to the global One Health Movement.
The goal of One Health Day is to build the cultural will necessary for a sea change in how professionals share information across disciplines. One Health Day brings global attention to the need for One Health collaborations and allows the world to ‘see them in action’. The One Health Day campaign is designed to engage as many individuals as possible from as many arenas as possible in One Health education and awareness events and to generate an inspiring array of projects worldwide.
Initiated in 2016 in collaborative partnership by the One Health Commission, the One Health Platform (now the global One Health Community), and the One Health Initiative pro bono Team, International One Health Day is officially celebrated around the world every year on November 3.
But events / occasions do not have to fall right on November 3 to participate. They can occur anytime during the calendar year. So be sure to REGISTER your 2025 occasions to get a pin on the map for your region and organization.

Kenya (Country-wide) One Health Week - By Protecting One, We Help Protect All
Nairobi. Hosted by the Kenya Medical Association and Kenya Veterinary Association
Meru County. Hosted by Meru County Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. Radio and television interviews about One Health will be aired on multiple channels, with representatives from the Meru County Government. A procession will take place from Muriri Market to Muthara Market in Tigania East sub-county followed by speeches to build understanding on One Health. https://onehealthday.com/node/14324

Fukuoka, Japan. Hosted by Fukuoka One Health, Fukuoka Prefecture, the Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations (FAVA) One Health Fukuoka Office. This forum has been held annually since FY2020 with the aim of sharing research results with the world and addressing zoonotic diseases and other challenges through the One Health approach. Egypt - Launch Event
Zagazig, Egypt. Hosted by the Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University. World One Health Day reinforces Egypt’s One Health Action Plan (2023–2027) by promoting collaboration across health, agriculture, and environment sectors. It boosts awareness of zoonotic diseases, AMR, and climate risks, while giving EAOHS national visibility. The day also fosters training and youth engagement in applying One Health principles and links Egypt to a global movement aligned with WHO and international One Health networks.
