It's almost time to vote! New York City's Primary Election is being held on Tuesday, June 22, but early voting starts Saturday, June 12 and runs through Sunday, June 20. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Tuesday, June 15. New York City now uses ranked choice voting for Primary and Special Elections for the following NYC municipal offices: mayor, public advocate, comptroller, borough president, and city council elections. All other races in the election will be determined via traditional voting.

The David Rubenstein Atrium will serve as a designated primary election polling site for early voting and on election day. To find your polling site, request an absentee ballot, or learn more about ranked choice voting, visit And, click here to register for a ranked choice voting training webinar hosted by DOROT on Wednesday, June 2.
