Let us help with this year's learning journey!
Whether you’re schooling at home or supplementing learning--or just looking for some good books to read for the younger book-lovers in your crew--the Library’s Youth Services department has an array of resources to enrich your family’s learning journey. Stop in this month to pick out a stack of fresh reads or to use the early literacy computers. You can also visit us from home to explore our slate of digital learning resources. New reading adventures await!
Join us in September for (more!) park yoga
This month, the Library continues to partner with NKC's Parks and Recreation team to bring outdoor yoga to Macken Park. Grab your mats and water bottles, folks! These sessions, facilitated by yoga instructor Tina Duer, are free and open to all.

Sessions are offered every Thursday evening from Sept 9-Oct 14. Class starts at 6:30 pm and meets near the the Gazebo/tennis courts at Macken Park.

Want to receive class reminders and/or weather cancellations? Go to nkcpl.org to register for the dates you plan to attend. (Otherwise, no need to sign up!)

Have questions? Email abrown@nkcpl.org. Hope to see you in the park this month!
Do you use the Libby app for digital items? Libby is the Overdrive collection in an updated app. In fact, starting in February, Overdrive will begin “sunsetting” its legacy Overdrive app, and updating Libby (exclusively) instead. Which is just one more reason--along with Libby’s intuitive design and bevy of handy features--to make the leap to Libby for your digital books and magazines. To find it, search "Libby" in your device's app store. Happy digital reading!
