As a rejuvenating season, it's important to keep moving in the Spring.
Fresh air, deep breaths, time in nature and, of course, getting on our yoga mat for stimulating practices. — Moving our arms, we stand tall and strong connected with the earth, we smile, inhale and focus on what we want to experience and as we exhale, we let go of anything that prevents us from experiencing our full potential.

Restore your body-mind system to its natural harmonic resonance through sound and imagery meditation paired with the healing tones of crystal quartz singing bowls.
One of the most powerful ways to manifest health and well-being is to visualize an image of your own life force or essence and then animate that image with sound and breath. For our purposes in this practice we will silently layer in the use the bijas, or seed sounds, each of which correspond to one of the 7 main energy centres that begin at the base of the spine and run up past the crown of the head.
Join Brian, Glenda & Julia for this sumptuous day of mindful movement, guided reflection, and deep relaxation as we explore the concept of mindfulness and how we can integrate this practice into our daily lives.
Your day will include:
gentle yoga flow,
a yin yoga with group reiki practice,
a mindful food/chocolate meditation,
and a yoga nidra guided relaxation accompanied by the healing vibrations of the crystal bowls.
This intensive program will provide the knowledge and tools to help you create safe, accessible, and appropriate Gentle Yoga classes for active aging. You will be given insight into the aging process and its impact on the body so that you can provide adaptations as needed. You will be able to focus on creating a Gentle Yoga practice that allows for continued functionality, strength and independence which can be transferred to Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).
You’re a teacher, therapist or coach and regardless of what you focus on in your practice you know that teaching your clients to breathe easy will enhance their potential to experience optimal results.
You may already have some techniques to help your clients improve their breathing but you want to learn more so that you can better support them in reaching their goals. This course is for you.
