Dear Friends of the Gallery,

We hope you enjoyed your spring break. We are refreshed and ready for the busy weeks ahead. Mitch Eckert's lecture in the Staerkel Planetarium on March 27 at 2 p.m., the day after the exhibition ends, will start the post-break programming for The Distance Between. Please join us for his talk—no registration is needed to attend.

Mitch Eckert's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and appears in various publications. Eckert received his BFA in photography and sculpture from Indiana University and his MFA from Ohio University, focusing on photography and printmaking. His technical knowledge of photography is well rooted in the medium's rich historical processes, including his masterful works in kallitype. His work is in the 21c. Museum, Butler Institute of American Art, and several corporate and private collections. Mitch Eckert lives in Louisville, Kentucky, and is an associate professor of art teaching photography.

Following The Distance Between, the always highly anticipated student show will open on April 8. The Gallery will be closed from March 27 - April 7 for the installation.

See you in the Gallery!

Sincerely,

Lisa Costello
