Spring winds are blowing in and bringing fresh activity at Grace in the Heights.  It is Rodeo season, and the beginning of Lent and Easter is just around the corner.  With so much going on, here are a few dates you’ll want to have on your calendar: 

March 14-Rodeo Round Up- Our Day School’s biggest fundraiser of the year is this Friday.  This year the focus is on funds for new flooring in the hallways.  Come out on Friday for food, music, and games.  It’s a great event for little people. 

March 16- Easter Lily orders are due.  Each year we decorate the sanctuary with lilies at Easter.  You are invited to participate by buying a lily in honor or memorial of someone you love.  See the link below or contact the office for more information. 

March 29- Campus Clean-up day.  Join us on Saturday the 29 from 9-12 as we tackle beautification projects around the church.  Helpers of all ages are welcome, and projects are available for all skill levels. 

April 5- Lay Ministry training.  If you have questions about how you can better serve in roles like Administrative Board, Lay Delegate or even become a Lay Speaker, the district is hosting its annual training at West University.  See Pastor Kate for more information. 

April 5-Food Pantry Volunteer Day.  Looking for a good hands on service experience?  Join our team going to Houston Food Bank from 8-12.  We work in the warehouse sorting food and packing boxes.  It is a fun way to do good for the community.  See Leonor to sign up. 

April 13-20 Holy Week.  Watch the newsletter for more information on our special week of services leading up to and celebrating Easter.
