WE ARE SO GRATEFUL

We want to thank members of the community from the bottom of our hearts for recent donations including, a small trailer, monetary donations from private parties, a Jump River Electric Cooperative grant, twin beds and bedroom furniture for the Phase 3 house, and a grant from Hayward Tamarack Health for a washer and dryer set for the Phase 3 house.

CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP

The House of Hope is in the process of becoming a Hayward Chamber of Commerce Member to make it easy for men in need of addiction recovery services to find us and for House of Hope graduates to be aware of employment needs within the community.

WORKSHOP PROJECTS

As part of the House of Hope programming, the participants learn how to build things in the trade skills workshop. Currently the men are finishing up a shed order that will be delivered this month.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

We’ve received a couple of community project requests for the spring/summer timeframe. Each request is evaluated according to skills required and availability outside of the day-to-day programming and community events that we participate in. We appreciate the opportunity to give back to the community that supports us so well!

Trade Skills Workshop

Residents in Phase 1 & 2 participate in making goods in the trade skills workshop to learn basic carpentry that will help them develop skills that can help them find employment upon graduating from the program. Handmade goods by House of Hope residents are available at Northwood Outdoor on Hwy 27 and Hayward Feed & Seed on US 63.
