Azure Print Homes is the Pick!

HART of Folsom’s Board unanimously voted to move forward with Azure Print Home’s 180 square foot unit for the expansion of transitional housing on Oak Hills Church Campus. Last month, HART’s Board President, Liz Ekenstedt, toured Azure’s factory in Gardena, California, and is confident HART has chosen the best housing structure for the Oak Hills Church project. Azure manufactures state of the art, year round mobile home units.

This impressive company is in partnership with the City of Camarillo and San Luis Obispo to provide housing for the homeless in those communities. Also, Azure Print Homes is building a new factory in Colorado to supply homes for an extensive village near Denver. These units are beautifully designed and environmentally sustainable, too. Please check out their webpage and YouTube here.

Folsom Winter Shelter closes its season on March 9!

The 2025 Folsom Winter Shelter ends this Sunday morning, March 9.  We were all busy with our guests this last week, but we do want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has served, encouraged, and supported our guests this season!

It’s been a remarkable time together, and our guests have been able to connect with HART’s transitional housing program, Powerhouse and Jake’s Journey.  Peace and grace to all!

Rachael Laflam

Volunteer Fundraiser Super Hero

Rachael has spent the past 15-20 years volunteering on various PTAs, assuming the role of team mom on my kids' sports teams, running a Girl Scout Troop, and of course hosting the neighborhood kids after school. When my kids outgrew the need for me to fill their lives with community, I looked for other ways to help lift others. I stumbled upon HART, and I am so glad that I did. Read More
