Summer is here!

Happy Pride Month

Hopefully your exams are a distant memory and you can enjoy summer fun! Travel safe wherever you may go and I will look forward to hearing your stories when you return.


Don't forget we have great programming for teens in the summer including yoga & mindfulness, painting, movie nights, and the Aspen Science Center. 

Summer Reading

Register for the summer program and you could win great prizes including a digital underwater camera, a National Geographic VR set, and even a Lego ship in a bottle building kit! All you have to do is read, listen or participate from June 8-August 11.

Sewing 101 Workshops


Once a month Jun - Sept


Learn the basics of sewing with expert Jennifer Hansen in our Sewing 101 Workshops! 


Start with our workshop on Saturday, June 11th at 2pm.


In "Understanding the Machine Part I" we will learn about threading, stitches, tension, speed, maneuvering, and other parts of the sewing machine.


For teens and adults. Maximum of 6 participants.

Jewelry Making with Rebekah


July 8th & Aug 5th, 1pm


Professional jeweler Rebekah Greer will be teaching jewelry workshops for teens!


Learn to make a range of items, using all different types of tools and materials.

Girls Who Code: Javascript Workshop


August 10th-12th, 9am-12pm


In this three day workshop lead by Alexis Lindenfelser, girls will learn the basics of JavaScript by coding two guided projects. They will also learn how to import pictures, and use buttons and conditional statements. No experience is required, just a willingness to learn, be challenged, and be excited about programming!


For girls ages 12+.
