Dear Gould Families,

Happy THANKSGIVING! Turkey Day is almost here. One more day of classes and then some wonderful time off.

Because we now have smaller numbers on campus, and because we know everyone needs a little extra support over the holidays, we are introducing some new guidelines in the dorms over the break. If everything goes well, we hope to continue these new protocols until the January intake period, but that will require everyone's help.
Please note the following:
•Mask and distancing guidelines are still very much in place, even in these new scenarios.
•Doors must remain wide open and windows cracked when visitors are in the room.
Only prefects may visit other floors within their dorm. Thank you.
Here's the lowdown by dorm:
Davidson
The Davidson Lounge will now be open to other boarding students. We will look into removing some furniture to accommodate more people in the room, while still maintaining six feet of separation. Because of the way dorm rooms are arranged in Davidson, there will be no visiting of other rooms.
Holden
Holden students may visit another room on the same floor of their dorm (everyone distanced and with masks on) so long as there is never more than one guest at a time. The Holden Lounge is open to all boarding students.
Gehring
Gehring students may visit another room on the same floor of their dorm (everyone distanced and with masks on) so long as there is never more than one guest at a time. The Gehring Lounge is open to all boarding students.
Day Students
A reminder that day students should not be on campus over the break unless part of a coach-supervised team practice. They should not attend any meals until in-person classes resume.
