Happy Thanksgiving from Lotus

This year Lotus Cuisine and Lotus Market will be closed for Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately, we will also not be able to repeat our longstanding tradition of opening up our doors to the public for free meals on the night before Thanksgiving.

We are still keeping our tradition of feeding the needy by donating to ExtraFood and other Soup Kitchens and Charities.

Next year we hope to have a way to provide Thanksgiving meals that will be safe for all and continue our Thanksgiving tradition.

“Best Indian Restaurant in the Bay Area!

Visited Lotus Restaurant in downtown San Rafael yesterday on our way back from Point Reyes. The owners Jyoti and Alisha have paid a lot of attention to details from the ambiance/interior decor to the food. The couple have carefully given a lot of thought to every fine detail within the restaurant from arched doorway to wall colors & paintings to chandeliers and wall hangings. Not just that, the restaurant is kept very clean, waiters are courteous and food is served quickly. Coming to food, each item is carefully crafted and very tasty. Don’t forget to try their navratan korma, malai kofta, and more importantly Surinder’s mango fudge.

One of the best Indian restaurant in the bay area – hands down. Highly recommend it.”
