December is Almost Here!
December is already here! 2019 seems to have gone by in a flash, and November has been another jam-packed month. I am so thankful for all our volunteers and supporters! We started out with a goal of raising $445,000 for this campaign, and I am proud to say that we are a little over halfway there! So far we have raised over $250,000! This is all thanks to our supporter's donations, the efforts of our volunteers, and the coordination of our staff. Thank you everyone for all the support!

It is almost time for Campaign Lawn signs to go up. Signs will be going up in Salinas starting December 5th! Thank you to everyone who has signed up to receive signs. If you want to help support the campaign, consider signing up to receive a lawn sign! Click here to sign up! We will also need volunteers to help us distribute the remaining signs to the rest of our supporters here in district 4. If you want to help campaign by volunteering, please e-mail Tabitha for more information.

Other than making progress on the campaign trail, I also have my family to be thankful for this year. As many of you know, our daughter Molly was born after having a perinatal stroke, and every day since she continues to surprise us. Our weeks are filled with physical therapy, prayers and progress. Molly is a champion! Each day as Molly grows, so does the bond between her and her brother, Patrick. Danielle and I love seeing the two of them grow together. And where would I be without my beautiful and supportive wife? Thank you Danielle for being my champion through this whole year. We will be spending the holiday with our family out of town, and from our family to yours, we want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Seaside Coffee with Pastor Britt and Pastor Jones
This month we had a great discussion at the Greater Victory Temple in Seaside. Pastor Britt and Pastor Jones hosted a meet and greet with members of their Church and Seaside residents.

We hit some really important topics including housing and water.

As County Supervisor, I will commit to working with other jurisdictions and working through differences to see growth in Seaside so people can work and live where they grew up.

Sea Haven Coffee Meet and Greet
Another great coffee on November 24th in Sea Haven with our supporter Greg Delander! We talked about housing, water and clean energy.

Greg was able to show us his tank-less water heater that he says saves him money and is also energy efficient.

It was actually very quiet when turned on. Greg told us it heats his water instantly and doesn't waste water trying to heat up his shower. Impressive!
DON'T MISS TONIGHT!

The Holiday Parade of Lights is a Salinas family tradition. Each year, families begin arriving hours before the parade begins, bringing their chairs and blankets and picking just the right spot. Salinas' families, from toddler to grandparent, line up along Main Street and truly represent the diverse cultures of our community.
