November 26 2020 | Thanksgiving Issue
Happy Thanksgiving
This year, Thanksgiving is different. It is extra hard for some. To offer a bit of light on a drizzling day, we offer this special issue of UMAverse with a delightful video about Wild Turkeys (from member Greg Cook and his Wonderland Spectacle Co. team), a gift from one of our business partners The Gallery@57, a shoutout to a group in our community offering help to those in need, and an invitation to share seasons greetings!

Though many organizations and individuals give in our community, we offer this public thank you to one grassroots group Malden Neighbors Helping Neighbors. They offer a platform to share important community information, ask for help, and meet needs. This well-organized effort has a mission "to build a resilient Malden, MA through community connections and mutual support."
Share a Seasons Greeting
Bring light to someone this season! Post your holiday or winter greeting on our social media wall!

The end of 2020 is near, and what a year it has been. We are entering the holiday season--a celebration of culture, tradition, and togetherness. The idea of "togetherness" has been challenged this year; however, we have made strides to connect beyond the distances which separate us--mentally and spiritually.
MATV, soon to be UMA (Urban Media Arts) is an interconnected hub of creativity, dialog and evolving community, centering around media, arts and culture, and proudly based in Malden, MA. As a non-profit organization, we rely in part on your support for sustaining and expanding our offerings. We welcome your contribution.
