Can you guess what the SBJA faculty and staff are thankful for? Yes, YOU, our school family! We are so grateful that you entrust your precious children to us every day, and want you to know that we take our jobs seriously. We love your children, and want them to have the best possible education.

May your family have a wonderful holiday to enjoy family and friends, and consider all the ways you are truly thankful!
Your donations make a difference
Thanks to our wonderful school family, we were able to collect $2,469.14 for the victims of the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA. The funds were sent to the North Valley Community Foundation . If you feel further impressed to help, this is one of the most effective resources for the victims, but there are multiple sites to choose from. Also, a big thank you to the Torrance Chamber of Commerce for their contribution to this account. By the way, there were some piggy banks emptied out for this project, hence, the uneven amount!
Grades K-1 visit the Torrance Fire Department
SBJA kindergartners and first graders went to our local Torrance Fire Department station right down the street to thank those fantastic firemen who serve the public at a moment's notice. It takes a special breed of person to live with potential danger every day, and we appreciate them more than we can say. Thank you Mrs. Campos and Mrs. Villanueva for providing our students with this opportunity to express gratitude.

Have you been asking, "How can I help SBJA?"
Of course you have, so here's a great idea. If you're too busy to drive to one store after another, you might be like many of us who shop online. If you do, and if you use, here's a painless way that your purchases can help our school. Click on the image below, follow the instructions, and select South Bay Junior Academy as the organization to which you'd like to direct %.05 of your purchases. It's easy to let amazon donate in your behalf at no cost to you. Save the website address so each time you shop you'll be directed there.

Please tell your family and friends about this opportunity to help SBJA!
