Besides being a great ceramist, she prefers potter, Genevieve creates glass art that is very appreciated by everyone.

Trunk show of filigree jewelry with Katarina Doda

Katarina is a silversmith in Macedonia. She works the intricate filigree jewelry, keeping alive this great tradition in her region. The fine silver is first melted into bars, then stretched into different thickness of wires, the tiny wires are crimped, curled, cut, soldered and finally the piece is finished.

She will participate in the Cultural Survival Bazaar December 5th to 8th at the Prudential Center in Boston with the other artisans that sell at Joseph's Coat.

Cider Monday, started by The Toadstool bookstore, is a tradition of encouraging customers to close the computer and shop in person at your local stores. Come in on Monday after Thanksgiving, aka Cyber Monday, for a glass of cider and a browse.
