Issue #14 | November 2018
Happy November!

This is the month to give thanks and to show gratitude, and we are most thankful for all of you. We appreciate your support! Happy Thanksgiving!

We held our annual Fall Kickoff this month. We brought together over 350 student Venturers from our partner schools for a motivating and inspiring day. It was a lot of fun! We shared some of our photos with you, below.

We are preparing to host our Administrators Breakfast on November 30th, here at Mount Wachusett Community College. We are bringing together the most critical and influential leaders impacting education in our region for a reinvigorating morning.

As always, and especially this month of giving thanks, we wish to thank all of our readers. We are grateful for your continued support of our program. Thank you! And Happy Thanksgiving!

We are excited to host this year's new cohort of Changemakers for another day of inspirational and motivational professional development on Friday, November 30th.

Over 40 educators from Fitchburg and Leominster Public Schools will be coming together for an all-day problem-solving session to co-create ways in which Changemaking will best fit into their lives and in their jobs as educators.

At this session, participants will share and collaborate ways in which to instill the values of empathy, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving in the community as a whole.

Thank you so much to those who give up their time to impact the world in such a positive way!
To learn more about Changemaking, check out Ashoka's Changemaker Communities website and look for more updates from us via newsletter and social media for some of the positive outcomes occurring within our Changemaker partner organizations.
This year's Administrators Breakfast is a convening to strengthen the personal and professional connections of those individuals most invested in passion- and action-based learning.

Our annual breakfast will bring together the most critical and influential leaders impacting education in our region for a reinvigorating morning. The agenda includes remarks from acclaimed speaker, Maria Milagros, who will introduce themes and insights from her life that impact the students we serve each day. Maria’s keynote will inspire dialogue not only about meeting the needs of students, but connecting and recharging as leaders in roles that can sometimes be isolating and lonely. Maria will enliven the discussion with her unique perspective as a formerly disengaged North Central MA youth transformed to a thriving and inspirational leader.

Thank you to our Administrators Breakfast Sponsor, Johnson Controls !
