LUNCH AND LEARN CANCELED FOR THIS WEEK (11/25)

NOTE: This week's Tuesday Lunch & Learn (11/25) is *canceled* and will be rescheduled for next week (12/2).

Chaverim y'karim ~ dear friends,

While I often take on very weighty topics, this week, I turn us toward something from the Shalom Hartman Institute on a far lighter matter - since we are the People of the Book, why not be the People of the Cook? I hope you enjoy the video and the resources for further gastronomic and spiritual exploration! If you click on the JewBelong Thanksgiving picture or HERE, you will find a wonderful guide for your table - complete with a few prayers, intentions, questions, and fun!

I will miss being in town on Tuesday (note: no Lunch and Learn this week) as someone very dear to me in North Carolina died this past Shabbat and I will be officiating at the funeral on Tuesday.

In the meantime, I am wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful Thanksgiving and if you are around this Shabbat ... on Friday night: bring your leftover pie and we'll have a tasting of the finest pies in Litchfield County during our Oneg!!

L'shalom,

Rabbi Mark Cohn
