A Thanksgiving Message from the Village of Cleves”

As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to take a moment to reflect on the blessings we share as a community. This season invites us to pause, give thanks, and celebrate the friendships and neighbors that make Cleves such a wonderful place to call home.

Each of you plays an important role in the spirit of Cleves—whether by lending a hand to a friend, volunteering your time, or simply taking actions that brighten someone’s day.

This year has brought its share of challenges, but it has also shown our strength and ability to come together. I am deeply grateful for your support of the Safety Services levy.

While many challenges remain, I am confident and thankful that you have elected council members who truly care about our citizens. They understand our village’s infrastructure needs and are eager to find creative solutions that will enhance the quality of life for everyone in Cleves.

On behalf of the Village of Cleves, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful Thanksgiving filled with peace, gratitude, and fellowship. May this holiday bring warmth to your homes and remind us all of the strength we find in one another.

Sincerely,

Chuck Birkholtz, Mayor

TRAM- Thanksgiving Food Distribution Today

TRAM Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway

Our area food bank, TRAM, is supported by caring citizens across Miami Township, including Addyston, North Bend, Cleves, and all surrounding communities.

Thanksgiving is almost here, and we’re ready to help make it special! TRAM has 45 turkeys and all the fixings to share this Monday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Let’s move these turkeys out and make room for Christmas hams! If you or someone you know could use a helping hand this holiday, stop by and pick up a Thanksgiving meal.

Thank you for helping us spread the word and support our neighbors!

Christmas is a Time for Giving

Make a Child’s Christmas Bright

Support the Three Rivers Community Giving Tree

Think back to a time when money was tight—maybe when you or someone you love struggled to buy gifts for children, or when you didn’t receive the present you had hoped for as a child. Now imagine being a parent today, wanting nothing more than to see your child’s face light up on Christmas morning, but not having the means to make it happen.

You can make a difference. Please help our community’s children by supporting the Three Rivers Community Giving Tree. It’s simple, just click on the 2025 Amazon Gift List and choose a gift.

Your generosity will help a family create a joyful Christmas and lasting memories for their children.

Together, we can bring hope, happiness, and holiday magic to those who need it most.

Cleves Service Department Projects in the Village

Dear Residents,

Street sweeping has been rescheduled for December 10th and 11th, weather permitting.

The original sweeping was canceled due to rainy conditions. When rainwater runs along the curb, sweeping becomes ineffective—the sweeper collects more water than debris, leaving gravel and other materials behind. This also requires the operator to empty the truck more frequently to dispose of excess water.

Monday - Put up Christmas Ornaments on the electric poles.

Tuesday - Assist Addyston in putting up their Christmas ornaments.

Wednesday - Decorate Village Bldgs. for Christmas.

Thursday/Friday - Holidays, spend Thanksgiving with family and friends.
