As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to take a moment to reflect on the blessings we share as a community. This season invites us to pause, give thanks, and celebrate the friendships and neighbors that make Cleves such a wonderful place to call home.
Each of you plays an important role in the spirit of Cleves—whether by lending a hand to a friend, volunteering your time, or simply taking actions that brighten someone’s day.
This year has brought its share of challenges, but it has also shown our strength and ability to come together. I am deeply grateful for your support of the Safety Services levy.
While many challenges remain, I am confident and thankful that you have elected council members who truly care about our citizens. They understand our village’s infrastructure needs and are eager to find creative solutions that will enhance the quality of life for everyone in Cleves.
On behalf of the Village of Cleves, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful Thanksgiving filled with peace, gratitude, and fellowship. May this holiday bring warmth to your homes and remind us all of the strength we find in one another.
Sincerely,
Chuck Birkholtz, Mayor
