Happy Thanksgiving from Zenith Aircraft!
This Thanksgiving, we're full of gratitude!
Join Zenith Aircraft's Sebastien Heintz and Roger Dubbert as they go flying "low and slow" and share their annual Thanksgiving message as well as news and updates from Zenith Aircraft Company, all while enjoying the fantastic views from above! Watch the video.
A big thank-you to every builder and flyer who makes Zenith Aircraft what it is. With thousands of Zenith kits being built in garages and hangars across the country (and thousands more already flying!), you are the heart of the Zenith community. Together, we have built, and continue to build, something truly extraordinary!

Zenith Aircraft has been the top brand in Light Sport Aircraft for many consecutive years (based on actual FAA registrations) — but with MOSAIC the definition of "light sport" just got a whole lot bigger and now includes most of the general aviation fleet!
Our run as the "Light-Sport Aircraft and Sport Pilot Market Share" leader may officially end here, but we are still incredibly proud and thankful to have led the way for Sport Pilots from the very beginning — and we’re excited for what the next chapter, "Sport Pilot 2.0," brings.
| | “We are thrilled that Zenith owners and pilots are now able to benefit from this new FAA rule,” stated Sebastien Heintz in General Aviation News (10/30/25). “This provides them with additional utility and capability, maximizing the value of owning a Zenith.” | | |
We are thankful for the exceptional light aircraft designs created by Chris Heintz. His innovative yet proven designs laid the foundation for Zenith Aircraft to keep evolving our kits — making them easier and faster to build, with the features and performance builders want, and now positioned to grow with MOSAIC.
We’re thankful for the talented production team at Zenith Aircraft Company in central Missouri — the people who build every kit part that eventually becomes a customer-built airplane. And we’re equally appreciative for our shipping and support staff who keep everything moving.
We’re also grateful for our expanded kit factory, giving us the space we need for advanced production, quick-build kits, and growing activities.
We’re honored and thankful to support Zenith builders as they work toward the dream of “flying on their own wings.” And we’re especially thankful for the many Zenith pilots whose flying adventures continue to inspire all of us!

Participate at a Zenith hands-on factory workshop in 2026 for just $300*! This represents big savings - the same price we offered the workshop class 34 years ago when Zenith Aircraft Company first started offering the educational hands-on workshop classes!
The Black Friday Sale starts on Friday, November 28th, and ends Sunday, November 30th, 2025. Order must be placed online during those dates. You'll be able to choose which scheduled factory workshop class to attend any time after ordering. Zenith typically offers one workshop class per month throughout the year.
| * $300 cost is for the workshop class for the STOL CH 701, STOL CH 750, CH 750 Cruzer or Zenith CH 650 rudder. The sale price is $350 for the larger STOL CH 750 Super Duty rudder. Click here for more info about Zenith workshops. | As Zenith's Roger Dubbert explains: "I highly recommend the workshop experience to anyone even remotely considering building their own aircraft, and also to anyone who flies or owns a Zenith that they didn't personally build. You'll learn about the Zenair blind rivets that we use, understand our drawings and manuals, lots of tips and hints, and so much more. In addition to learning about how to build and maintain a Zenith, you'll go flying with me in the aircraft that you hope to build and fly yourself one day. You'll also tour our Zenith kit factory, and get to know all of us personally. It's a great investment in your airplane project and well worth the time and money!" | | | |
Zenith 3-ring Binder Kit: $10
The Zenith do-it-yourself (DIY) binder kits have been very popular with students and adults alike, including the "women-only" sheet metal workshop classes at EAA Oshkosh AirVenture and at the Zenith Homecoming, as well as hands-on projects at the Sun 'n Fun's Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE) summer camps. Learn about basic sheet-metal construction while building yourself a Zenith 3-ring aluminum binder, made with aircraft materials and cut on the same CNC high speed routers as the real aircraft kits. Note that the required assembly tools are not included, and must be purchased separately.
| |
Add a Zenith binder kit to any order (regardless of order size) for just $10.00 through the end of this year (or until we run out)! Contact us for details or order through the online store. Limit one binder kit per customer, while supplies last.
| The do-it-yourself (DIY) Zenith binder kits are an effective hands-on introduction to basic sheet-metal assembly — using the same skills and tools you’d use to build a Zenith airplane kit. And when you're done, you’ve created a durable, good-looking 3-ring binder that’s as practical as it is fun to build. | | | |
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! The Zenith STOL high-lift wing, designed by Chris Heintz, is famous for providing the needed lift and control for short takeoff and landing performance in Zenith STOL aircraft. The STOL Wing Cross-Section Kit is more advanced than the 3-ring binder kit, and is offered as an assembly project with everything needed to build, including blind rivets and nut/bolts. Parts are supplied ready for assembly (final hole-size CNC match-drilled) in the kit, available for $350. The Wing Cross-Section Kit is also useful as a teaching aid (assembly, design, aerodynamics), and makes a great item to display proudly on your wall - in your hangar, shop, office or mancave.
|
The Zenith kit aircraft factory will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holidays on November 27th and 28th, and we will re-open Monday, December 1st.
We wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
